  Let me start off by saying I absolutely love 7-Eleven. It is by far my favorite convenient store. With my job, I travel all over the metroplex and frequent 7-Eleven on a daily basis. Today was a different story at the location in Rockwall. First off, when my fiance and I walked in, the clerks were in an office behind the counter. We were there for a hot dog, so just being courteous and patient, we browsed around the store a bit. After around five minutes, I had to go and wave to the clerk to come out. He was very nice and got us our hot dogs, so we proceeded with the condiments. Next step, the checkout. The total was three dollars and some change. I handed the clerk a ten, and he handed me back a dollar and change. I said, "no sir, I gave you a ten." He persisted with insistence that I had given him a five. After being in 7-Eleven for about ten minutes, I cut my losses, and just said, "Well, you got me for five dollars," and walked out. He came out before we pulled out, and said he was the manager and handed me five dollars. He kept on with his insistence that I was wrong. So instead of losing five dollars, I got five dollars and a guy who in so many words called me a liar. Five dollars isn't worth being accused as a liar, I wish he would've just kept the money. They've definitely lost my business for good.
